WHAT THE BOX SAID
NARUTO Rise of a Ninja is centred on the main character of the anime. 12 years ago, a fearsome 9-tailed demon fox attacked the village of Konoha. Many ninjas fell during the battle until the most powerful one sealed the monster into the body of a newborn, NARUTO. Now NARUTO has grown up to be a hyperactive ninja-in-training who is more interested in pranks than schoolwork. However he's determined to become the greatest ninja ever! With this dream in his head he will never stop his efforts, and through hard work will gain respect and acceptance. This is the rise of a ninja.

In a game exclusively developed for the Xbox 360 from the ground up and for the first time ever, gamers can experience Naruto from the series' beginning. Re-live the hit anime and manga and experience Naruto's transformation from noisy ninja-academy dropout to respected ninja.
WHAT I SAY
Naruto is a 3rd person action RPG with a fighting game component. It had some cool elements to it and really was very faithful to the show.
WHAT I DID
After completing King Kong I was moved on to a South Park project as a game/level designer that sadly got cancelled. I decided I wanted to try out game/system design and was given the opportunity to do so by Ubisoft on Naruto.

I was on the project for a year, during which time I worked through the concept and pre-production phases. I worked on designing the techniques system, tree action sequences, KO system and lock-on system as well as attempting to develop what I still believe was interesting health/'magic' system that sadly never made it into the final game.
