They were looking for a level design for a 3rd person action/adventure, Assassin's Creed style. I hadn't seen something in this era before so, decided on a bombed out WW2 battersea power station.
Really enjoyed working on this.

I did a little design on modular and a potentially simple automated level design system. Has some good insights I went on to employ in various ways.

I used Hammer to complete the test.

It's one where I bit off slightly more than I could chew, and although it was an interesting result, it was unfinished and lacking details and intent in many places.

Nonetheless, it was still enjoyable getting to grips with Hammer.

This was a game design test for Ready at Dawn Studios.

They wanted a game level and a couple of simple, unique design mechanics for a game similar to ratchet and clank etc.

Was fun to play around with this one.
